Who I am
.About Me
I am an artist and art teacher with over 30 years experience. I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art Education. I specialize in multiple genres such as oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and ceramics. I create portraits, caricatures, landscapes and still-lifes.
I worked as a full-time art teacher in China. In 1999, I was promoted to First Degree Status Teacher of Art. I sold paintings and graphite, sketches to local galleries before moving to the US in 2001.
I have taught children and adults drawing and painting in several schools. I have served as a mentor to a lot of my students, and many have received awards and prizes for their artwork in various competitions, both in China and the United States. Additionally, I worked as a portrait artist at Hershey Park for many years, and I also give private art lessons to adults and children. These experiences have all been very rewarding, and they helped me become the artist and instructor I am today.
Along with my bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Education, I earned my Associate’s degree in Graphic Design. I created my own portfolio and was accepted into two college art schools. I can help students of all ages learn
fundamentals of art, and instruct advanced students in preparing their portfolios.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, I am strongly committed to teaching and introducing my students to the beautiful world of art. I believe in lifelong learning and adding new knowledge to my art abilities and portfolio regularly, demonstrating innovation and unique creativity to my strong artistic foundation.
I'm looking forward to work together to help your children’s artistic success. Contact me through text or email to enroll today!
